The artisans that make our exceptional rugs are more than just workers: they are our family.

To that end, in 2004, we created the Jaipur Rugs Foundation with the goals of directing the flow of benefits toward the artisans who play a central role in our story, ensuring that our workers are fairly compensated, have prospects for advancement, and can become productive and contributing members of their communities.

Also, we’ve aimed at increasing the standard of living for our workers and their communities by creating a path to hope and prosperity. Carpet weaving also helps to support the many towns and villages where our artisans are located and opens doors to thousands of individuals.

Moreover, the Jaipur Rugs Foundation has worked to educate our workers to become better informed about economics and how they can gain further financial independence and security.
