falgun ke rangexperience the colorful festivities of the month of falgun with shankar’s manchaha ‘falgun ke rang,’ which in hindi means ‘the colors of falgun.’ she has woven this carpet in the month of falgun, which is considered an auspicious month in the hindu calendar. the eminent festival of holi is also celebrated in that month. she designed a gigantic colorful kite to celebrate the festival. besides the kite, she has woven an earthen pot to quench the thirst after all the tiredness from the festivities.
