welcome to jaipur rugschandrakanta was commissioned three manchahas one after the other, a task she completed with full responsibility and perfection. the rug has the words ‘welcome to jaipur rugs’ woven in it and features typically rajasthani patterns and motifs to depict the deep sense of respect and adoration for guests that is practiced in the state. she has woven in the motifs in visually complementing colourations. the rug has imprints of her flair for perfection and her observation skills.
