The lovable mother-daughter duo of our weavers Krishna and her daughter Manisha named her Mancha ha carpet ‘Doongar Ke Upar’ which translates to above the mountains in English. She tells the story as one day they both went to the mountains and witnessed beautiful scenery presented in their surroundings that refers to their village that has been inculcated in this carpet. Their complete family shares the excitement whenever new guests appear at their place from the city for sharing a similar feeling they have woven welcome on the top of mountains with a stretch of a smile that shares the happiness. The design consists of elements such as palm trees, river, and village grounds that have been woven delightfully that the lovable duo witnessed while climbing a mountain based in their village.
