Gaaon aur ShaharThe rug Gaaon aur Shahar, or the village and city, brings out the contrast between the two. At once, she weaved plants and trees that she sees in her village and later on she started weaving complexities of a city life through her intricate design. With beautiful patterns, she also tried to explain how urbanites run each day to climb a ladder that leads nowhere. “I wonder how people in city survive the ruckus. Life is better off here and with this rug, I tried portraying the same”, she explains in her deep assertive voice.
