sanjhSanjhAfter a long day of weaving, tending to their families and juggling with life's endless responsibilities, Laxmi and Nirmala find solace in the quiet of early night. This is their favorite time, the moment when they step away from the loom, carrying the weight of the day in their hearts and minds. But as they walk together through the golden village paths, that weight slowly lifts. Under the vast sky, they sometimes walk barefoot, feeling the earth beneath them, grounding them in the present. Looking up at the distant mountains, the last light of the sun fades, and the birds on treetops, chirp their evening stories, just as the two women share theirs. In their rug, they have captured this magic. The winding village paths hold their whispered secrets, and in the upper left corner, a tiny green boat floats among the stars. They named their creation, Saanjh, the embrace of twilight, where burdens fade, and hearts feel light.
