‘Billu’ is the Hindi word for cat, and this carpet got its name from Prem’s son’s obsession with cats. While she was weaving this rug, she had found her son bringing cats into the home a few times, till she now associates this carpet with the cats. While this Manchaha was in finishing, Prem started appreciating the cats that showed up, because it helped keep the mice away from her kitchen. Infact when she was shown the rug afterward, she heard a cat meow in approval. She believes her cat can help keep the mice, or irritations out of the house and make your pets at home happy about this rug. It even catches the fur from the air and makes it easy to dispose of.

A scattered brown shade with a glittery glow adds tranquility to your brow. Prem was inspired by Churma, a delicate, grainy textured sweet made of clarified butter, wheat and sugar. On the base of Churma she added elements inspired by the forest. The uneven flowers, diverse plants and animals conveys a message of power in co-existence. The black threads on the brown base set a deep soothing tone. Let co-existence make its way by taking Churma away.

The rug is woven in yellow, a colour that reminds her of sunshine, light, and brightness. The rug is named after her first child, Prakash, who Prem was blessed with after many years of marriage. Hence, she named her first Manchaha after him as she says her has also brought light to her life. The design incorporate elements of mehendi and motifs like dates, mountains, and earth, things that Prem is surrounded by.
