PaltaWhen she was given this manchaha, she was thinking of how she can make her rug stand apart from the ones other weavers from her village had already made. Her Quality Supervisor and Bunkar Sakhi told her to make anything she wishes. But Mooli wanted to create something exclusive and outstanding. So, she ended up creating a mirror-reflection effect with her designs wherein she wove the patterns both straight and then as a reflection, thereby inspiring its name ‘Palta’ which means the other side of things when turned around.
