The Design Story
shaadiShaadiShaadi which translates to ‘wedding’ is how Shravani describes the rug. She has named it so because she completed the carpet just before her daughter’s marriage got fixed. In her Manchaha, she has included everything that she wanted in her daughter’s wedding including door hanging, square designs from saree, flowers, leaves and water chestnuts. Until now she has woven around 5 Manchaha and is fond of weaving more.
