Since this was Meera’s first manchaha, many of her family members and neighbors shared their advices for the rug with her. “Throughout the process of creating the rugs, many people had ideas, designs, and other suggestions. While I listened to them, I ultimately followed my heart and created what I thought would look best,” Meera explained. Other than weaving rugs, Meera also enjoys sewing clothes, bags, and other items for her three children.
Chaaro OreIn this rug, weaver Meera used a combination of elements from her surroundings as her inspiration. Her rug is filled with designs of flowers and petals that she sees in the fields.
