Naurati is a 26 years old weaver from the Dhanota village of Rajasthan. “It was my first Manchaha and I enjoyed working on it. I want to make more Manchaha now”, she says with a confident smile. She is a mother of two young children, one girl and one boy. Though uneducated herself, she aspires to see her children becoming big someday. Her younger son, who has turned seven recently often teaches her how to count numbers and spell alphabets. Always smiling, she will teach you how to seek contentment from little joys of life.
Naurati “Plants and flowers give us oxygen, I weaved a window in my garden so that the plants too can get enough of air and water”, narrates Naurati with a huge burst of laughter. Chirpy, witty and creative, the traits of her personality are equally reflected in her designer rug. She weaved beautiful arrangement of flowers and plants, the way she sees it in her farm at the village.
