Meri PurseThis Manchaha was initially being woven by a different weaver but Sanju later took over and brought her own personality to the creation. She has named the rug ‘meri purse’ which means ‘my purse’, referring to her new purse that her husband had lovingly bought for her. She roamed the entire village showing off her shiny new purse in black and white stripes to make everyone jealous. She has woven the stripes of the purse in colours and also incorporated designs of her sarees, her make-up objects etc.
