Bimla is 29 years old and has been weaving rugs from past 13 years now. “Rug weaving always inspired me, I learnt it from my mother and I enjoy every bit of it,” she explains. Her friends in the village of Aaspura admire her work and praise her for the amazing work of art that she creates.
Alag SaThe rug ‘alag sa’ which means ‘something different’ is inspired from various elements that our weaver, Bimla came across while her journey to Delhi. the rug ‘Alag Sa’ is tribute to her Delhi’s trip where she went to collect her last award.
