archana calls this rug “aangana” which means courtyard. her designs are usually inspired by her everyday observations at the village. what struck her mind for this particular carpet was the flooring and the wall art at her house. she wanted to depict the same designs on the carpet. typical rural elements like shakarparas, little boxes, polka dots are found in the rug along with patterns on leheriyas that fill the rug.
