for the design of her manchaha, patasi was inspired by the night sky in her village. the lower half of the rug uses traditional motifs and patterns like hearts, box-like shakkarpara, and wave-like leheriyas to show the village-scape. the upper half shoes the night sky with stars and planets woven in different shapes and sizes.
