Gyarsi ka manchahaGyarsi Devi started her design with traditional patterns that she found on her sarees. She made small flowers and Shakkarpara patterns in orange color. One day, her eyes stumbled upon her son’s book. In there, she saw stunning images of mountains, and it captivated her imagination completely. That moment, she decided to change the design pattern. Keeping the gorgeous mountains in backdrop, she continued to weave flower motifs and decorated Shakkarpara. “Those mountains look so beautiful! I wish I had grown up among them”, she says, with adventure glittering through her eyes.
