Ariane Thakore is an Interior Architect from Kent Institute of Art and Design. Besides having studied design she also carries a master’s in economics from the prestigious Gokhale institute of politics and economics. She has completed more than 100 projects. She was a visiting faculty at APIED at Vidhyanagar (Jan 2009 to Jan 2011). She is a guest lecturer and jury member at National Institute of Design since 2011 and also at SID, Ahmedabad
Ariane’s skill and expertise lies in Furniture design and restoration of old furniture, Interior design and space planning, Sustainable design and using local traditional techniques, Retail and Restaurant design. She’s very passionate about restaurant and retail designing as well.
Off late she has ventured into architecture and is doing her first architecture project, a wild life experience in Maharashtra with the uses of sustainable designs, experimenting with localization and also introducing perma culture design… hoping to create one of the finest wild life hotels in India.
