Meet Our Artisan Guddi Devi

She is from Khora, Rajasthan, India

Sisters Guddi Devi (25) and Suman (27) have learnt the art of rug weaving from their mother. The sisters never got along when they were younger, but once they started weaving together their chemistry has improved a great deal. They like creating new and interesting patterns on the loom and the designs just come to them naturally when they sit and weave together. Both of them say that they love weaving the lehariya pattern on their rugs.

Her loom width:; 9 feet, while the maximum width of carpet that can be created on this loom,the length can be of your choosing. The total area determines the time spent in crafting the carpet and it's pricing.
