The Design Story
humari yaddeinHumari YaddeinRecalling his olden days of how Vinod used to play with his kids on the chatti of his house (terrace), he has hand-crafted the patterns inspired by them on the left-hand side of their manchaha. On the right-hand side, Ramvatar has woven a beautiful long tree along with the detailing of their roots, showcasing the importance of being grounded throughout one’s journey. Beneath the tree, you can witness a black bag, which is used by Ramvatar’s wife, as he remembers how they used to shop together in the local market. Through their imagination and a perfect blend of open and delicate patterns, Vinod, Ramvatar, and Ramvatar’s Manchaha captures the beauty of their little memories throughout their Manchaha, a beautifully hand-crafted wool and silk rug.
