The Design Story
chote bade chutkuleChote Bade ChutkuleKeshri is a woman who appreciates the natural beauty of the villages around her. Despite her age, she has experienced all aspects of life and values her inner peace. Keshri loves her children, especially her daughters. When her daughter's wedding was announced, everyone around her was pleased. However, Keshri couldn't help but feel nostalgic and realized that her time on earth was limited. As she gazed at the mountains, memories flooded back to her when she used to climb them with her children and cattle. As the wedding preparations began, Keshri's home quickly filled up with decorations and supplies. One evening, while the children were playing with the cartons, making castles out of them. Keshri looked through an open carton and saw the shape of a diamond in the form of a carton. This inspired her to create her favorite diamond-shaped design, hand-knotting them with perfection, which came from a carton that she calls "chutkule" in her local language. Thus, Keshri named her creation "Chote-Bade Chutkule."
