The Design Story
bhool bhulaiyaaBhool BhulaiyaaOften, life is just a maze. We get stuck in a place where we do not seem to find a way out at all. We are lost circling back to where we started the journey. There is always a way out; we just have to find it. This Manchaha Rug has been inspired by the game of Maze. There is one line that starts and ends finding the way out but only one has to observe. Amidst the threads of blue yarn, it is difficult to identify and locate the way in and out. But that's the fun and skill with which this Manchaha was weaved by Kishan, Kapil and Kamlesh. The weavers found the idea in a newspaper game and executed it on the carpet. They name it “Bhool Bhulaiyaa” , the Hindi word for the maze. They find their lives in a similar pattern in the jail and they hope to find a way out soon.
