This special Manchaha rug began amidst the hustle and bustle of her sister's wedding preparations. Maya started with bold leheriya wavy patterns, taking inspiration from the wedding sarees, yet found it hard to focus. Her heart was too entwined with the excitement and chaos of being the bride's sister. Maya set aside the loom for 15 days as the wedding day drew closer and was involved wholeheartedly in the celebrations, focusing entirely on making her sister's big day perfect. When the festivities concluded and the guests had left, Maya's home felt achingly empty. Her best friend was gone. She had never imagined how deeply she would feel this absence. Every corner of the house echoed with memories of their small fights, shared laughter, and countless moments of joy. Now, she was alone, back at her loom. With mixed emotions streaming down on her loom, Maya returned to her weaving. Each knot and each color change in the intricate leheriya pattern became a thread of love, a silent conversation with her sister.
