The Design Story
mera bageechaMera BageechaSantosh named her Manchaha ‘Mera Bageecha’ which in Hindi, means ‘my garden.’ On this rug, she spread out her garden with different colored yarns. This is her dream to have a colorful garden filled with lush trees, beautiful flowers, and sweet fruits. With red yarn, she has woven small fountains for her dream garden. The middle part is kept barren with white-colored yarns to depict the present. She believes one day she will cover the whole garden with beautiful flora.
