The Design Story
aarush ka jhulaAarush Ka JhulaSangeeta and Shilpi named their debut carpet in the Manchaha series as “Aarush ka Jhula”. It translates to ‘Aarush’s Cradle’, dedicated to Shilpi’s beloved son, Aarush. The details of the carpet are a reflection of a mother’s unconditional love for her children. The netted design in the middle represents the cradle. Little boxes in the remaining part depict Aarush’s favorite train toy. The indigo carpet reflects her devotion towards the carpet and her love for the craft.
