The Design Story
bijliBijliInspired by the monsoon season, Teena chose to name her rug Bijli which means thunder. Throughout the carpet, different aspects of rain and water can be seen. Thunderstorm is designed along with small boxes and water storage. The overall hues of the carpet reflects dark blue showers. The visuals in the rug are borrowed from a rainy day.
