The Design Story
satrangi raheinSatrangi Rahein“Satrangi Rahein,” which means the seven colored roads, is the brainchild of our weaver. He saw the most stunning rainbow, gracing the skies over the valleys, during one of his trips. The image was so vivid that he wanted to record and save it immediately. When offered the chance to weave the Manchaha, he thought of creating something more timeless from one of the most priceless vistas he had ever seen. As a result, he added a unique twist to this beauty. The roadways' rainbow-colored streaks are made up of many colors. Additionally, the square patterns above show valleys covered with lush vegetation. He hopes that the future roads of everyone will be as vibrant and joyful as those shown in this rug.
