The Design Story
prakriti ki ashaPrakriti Ki AshaAsha's Manchaha "Parkriti ki Asha" is a beautiful tribute to her deep love for nature. Asha finds solace in nature and cherishes it more than human interactions. She is extremely sensitive towards the environment and is always concerned about any damage caused to it. Her love for nature is reflected in the hand-knotted rug that she weaved, where she handcrafted giant trees, flowers, leaves, and animals that belong to the forest. Recalling her childhood days when she had witnessed a beautiful peacock, with its wings wide open at her grandparent's village, she has woven a huge peacock on the right-hand side. Asha describes the beauty of the dancing peacock in the rain. Her greatest desire is to completely immerse herself in the beauty of nature and wildlife by living in a place surrounded by it.
