apanapanApanapanShravani Devi has woven this rug like a map of her inner world. The strong triangular form pulls you in, almost like a gathering point, where many thoughts meet and settle. The deep red feels warm and grounded, like earth after rain, holding stories of work, seasons, and daily life. As you look closer, small details begin to appear: plants growing upward, birds resting, tiny homes, patterns that feel familiar and lived-in. Each motif reflects the decor and surroundings of a rural village. For Shravani, this rug feels protective, almost sheltering. It carries the feeling of her standing in one place for a long time, watching life move around her. Through this Manchaha, Shravani Devi shares patience, strength, and a quiet pride in where she comes from. With this, she named her rug “Apanapan,” meaning “Familiarity.”
