The Design Story
kahi suniKahi SuniExperiments in art are the only way to grow in art. Every artist has their own style but there is nothing harm in trying something new. Artisan Arshad has his own style of playing with colors, weaving flowers, and making his carpet a vibrant treat to the viewers. But this time, he tried something out of the box. He was advised by people to try something different. He acted upon their advice by weaving a simple carpet with the same pattern as a net. He has added stripes to either side with a slight touch of colours. The carpet has turned out unique and has a monochrome look to it. As this was a carpet weaved by listening to others’ opinions, the carpet is named “Kahi Suni” which can be translated to English as “Said and Heard” The carpet is a beauty of its own. Even though Arshad is not used to the monochrome patterns, he enjoyed the process thoroughly.
