The Design Story
indraIndraDevender, Parminder, and Ravinder's Manchaha "Indra" (The God of Sky) is a beautiful creation born out of their close bond as brothers. Like the vast open sky, their intricate patterns reflect their imagination and creativity in this beautifully hand-knotted silk rug. They have experimented with various yarns and designs, creating stunning ways that capture one's eye. Just like the sky is a canvas for creatures to soar high, the three brothers have explored their creativity fearlessly. Weaving became a ray of hope for all three since they lost their parents very young. They have found solace in their darkest day through the art of weaving. Their Manchaha "Indra" captures the eye and touches the heart, reminding us that even in the most challenging circumstances, the human spirit can rise, create beauty, and find hope.
