Ajooba, in Hindi, means ‘wonder’. Santosh says that the day she finished the manchaha and saw it unfolded completely, she was astounded at how beautiful it looked. She calls the rug ‘Ajooba’, which, in Hindi, means ‘wonder’. With traditional patterns like the wavy-leheriya, rhombus-like shakarpara, her fifteen years of skill and experience weaving design rugs is apparent in the design of Ajooba.
