For her first Manchaha, Anu wanted to try out a range of designs, and decided to segment these patterns in the rug. Although she knew she wanted to weave in different designs, she wasn’t sure which ones they would be. She started weaving after getting inspired by some of the designs she was familiar with, and allowed the other designs to flow. To her, this rug looks like a creative deck of cards and it has given her a new perspective to carpets. She named this rug ‘Naya Andaz’, which means new style.
