The Design Story
thehravThehravJhamman and Babu’s Manchaha rug “Thehrav”(Pause) highlights the importance of pause in human life. At the left hand side of their carpet, Jhamman has weaved a sight of birds resting on the wire of an electric pole through the hand-knotting technique. He says, even though birds have wings to fly, they take time to rest and observe their surroundings before they take flight in a new direction. Similarly, we need to take a pause at times and look carefully which direction we want to head next in life. This would not just enhance our growth but also unwind our true potential as humans.
