The Design Story
feeka biscuitFeeka BiscuitGeeta's husband went to the city's fair and brought their kids a wide variety of sweet & savory biscuits this time. Around the same time she was about to start her first-ever Manchaha, she was very confused initially as she couldn't understand what to choose for her inspiration. It was crucial also because it was the first opportunity she was given, and she wanted to make the best Manchaha in her vicinity. One of her kids, who loves biscuits, asked her to design a rug inspired by a cute little biscuit which she affectionately hand-crafted on the rug, granting his wish. She was first confused about the color story of the rug as she loved bright colors, but she received a pack of neutral or muted color combinations. Nevertheless, she smiled and started the rug. As the rug progressed, it came out to be a unique design. As in rural language, the muted or pastel colors are called "feeka" or "bland" She called this rug "feeka biscuit." She dedicates this rug to her little ones & the happiness on their face when they know that a biscuit inspired the rug.
