The Design Story
behti lakireinBehti LakireinRinki, Pooja, and Sugna’s Manchaha “Behti Lakirein” is a beautiful showcase of their love for their surroundings and nature's beauty. At the bottom of their Manchaha, all three of them started weaving a sea and highlighted the high tides of the water with the shades of orange. Moving forward the three of them decided to weave mountains however Sugna wanted her mountains to be orange in color and weaved them in a different shade than Rinki and Pooja with her wool-silk yarns. Moving forward Sugna weaved a rainbow and colorful houses for all three of them embracing her uniqueness. At the center of their Manchaha Rinki and Pooja started weaving a flowing river with barren lands all around them. Sugna was adamant to weave something of her own but when she realized that they were about to finish their carpet, she decided to join her friends and completed their manchaha together. Rinki Pooja and Sugna's "Behti Lakirein" is a beautiful example of appreciating uniqueness, but what truly matters is the company we keep on our journey.
