The Design Story
naveenNaveenShivani, Seema, Beby, Sanyogita, and Ritu began this Manchaha with hesitation, unsure of how it would turn out. Questions like “What if it doesn’t go well?” lingered in their minds. To move past their doubts, they chose to take it one day at a time, approaching each session with an open heart. Each day brought a new design — a small act of courage that eventually gave rise to the Naveen (New) Manchaha, full of fresh ideas and varied perspectives. Every artisan brought her own imagination to the loom — from playful Christmas trees to patterns inspired by sweaters. Though each motif stands apart, together they echo the timeless Indian idea of ‘unity in diversity.’ In the end, this Manchaha reminds us that beauty isn’t just in the finished piece, but it’s found in every step of the journey. And sometimes, what begins with uncertainty can lead to something far more beautiful than you ever imagined.
