hal-chalHal-ChalSharmila Devi, a true artist at heart, wove a masterpiece by effortlessly blending colors in a captivating manner. She incorporated her beloved shakkarpaara designs with a nod to tradition, infusing the tapestry with timeless elegance. But her creativity didn't stop there. Inspired by the sight of freshly plowed land, she ventured into the field of her imagination. Mesmerized by the zigzag patterns formed by the furrows, she mixed yarns in harmonious hues that mirrored the plowed land's earthy tones. Weaving these yarns together, she skillfully recreated the intricate zigzag patterns, bringing the essence of the field to life within her Manchaha. Aptly named "Hal-Chal" after the cultivator tool used to plow the land, Sharmila's design story beautifully merged tradition and nature into a visually stunning creation.
