The Design Story
teen gut ki pattiTeen Gut ki PattiManju’s Manchaha “Teen Gut ki Patti” is a beautiful portrayal of the shadow of the branches that can be seen in sunlights as Manju’s loom is installed beneath a dense tree consisting of leaves resembling that of a maple leaf structure. This structure of leaves is called “Teen Gut ki patti” which became Manju’s inspiration for her hand-knotted rug. Manju narrates that when you look at the leaves from far it feels like three leaves are joined together but in actuality it’s a single leaf that showcases strength and togetherness.
