The Design Story
nai soch ki nai kiranNai Soch Ki Nai KiranRubi Manchaha's "Nai Soch Ki Nai Kiran" highlights her unique approach towards art and creativity. As she weaved her rug, she was also building her home. The patterns she painted on the walls and pillars of her house were carried forward onto her rug, resulting in bold patterns at the center of her hand-knotted carpet. She has also woven delicate patterns inspired by the ceiling of her home, which she designed herself. Rubi is highly passionate about art and spends most of her time imagining what kind of patterns she can create to make her manchaha one-of-a-kind. She has a unique practice of drawing over the ground near her loom over the sand, experimenting with dynamic design patterns that reflect into her Manchahas, too! Through weaving, she found a new direction for innovative thinking and named her rug "Nai Soch Ki Nai Kiran."
