The Design Story
bune sapneBune SapneThis creation is Daala's first-ever Manchaha rug. When she visited Jaipur Rugs head office, she was determined to weave one of her own Manchaha. The beautiful display of carpets inspired her, and she imagined her own creation being showcased in the showroom. Her dreams took flight, and she began her manchaha journey upon returning back home. She started seeking inspiration around her and found the tiles of her home. Everywhere she went, whether to her neighbor's house or the market, she returned back with unique tile designs in her mind. As she progressed, her creativity expanded beyond tiles, and she delved into the world of sarees. She was so immersed in her carpet project that she would visualize the next designs to be woven before going to bed at night. Her Manchaha was like a child to her. She would check on it as soon as she woke up. With time and practice, Daala had now become designer. The designs came to her effortlessly. After three months of dedicated work, she completed her hand-crafted masterpiece, weaving her dreams into each thread. She beautifully named her Manchaha, "Bune Sapne" which translates to "Weaving Dreams."
