The Design Story
rangon ke teeleRangon Ke TeeleThe Rangon Ke Teele (The Color Mountains) was hand-crafted by a husband-wife duo who share a heartwarming chemistry on the carpet. Their creative thinking is in perfect sync both in their personal life and on their loom. They make a point to talk and discuss their designs to ensure they are similar to each other and hand-knot each design in rhythm. They reflect each other's style while keeping their individual thoughts together on their Manchaha. The little mounds of colors they have woven on the carpet are called teele, which can be found everywhere in their surroundings. What makes this Manchaha special is the thoughts they exchange while weaving the love and respect they show for each other's designs. They have intertwined their Manchaha just like walking hand in hand along an artistic journey that binds their souls together.
