The Design Story
shantivanShantivanWhen Badan and Roopchand started handcrafting their Manchaha, they imagined weaving patterns that would soothe their souls and bring peace to every eye who gazed at their hand-knotted creation. Both Badan and Roopchand shared an intense love for nature and decided to weave a garden full of solace and peace naming their Manchaha as “Shantivan” (Peaceful Garden). At the bottom of their rug, they have hand-crafted patterns inspired by tiny leaves fallen on the ground, varieties of flowers, and long paths for people to walk and meditate after encountering a chaotic day. Badan and Roopchand's Manchaha finds solace in the simplicity of nature by blending their imagination and the play of colors.
