The Design Story
hara bhara jangalHara Bhara JangalBalveer, Roopchand, and Mahesh showcased their creativity by weaving scenes from both Earth and space onto their carpet. Working harmoniously, they crafted a magical tapestry that reflects their shared passion for weaving. Roopchand finds joy and purpose in weaving, often drawing inspiration from random designs he sees on television. With a palette dominated by white and red yarns, they wove repetitive yet intricate patterns. At the center, Roopchand suggested mountains, while Mahesh added routes to give the carpet a unique look. Their love for stars led them to include star motifs against a dark backdrop, symbolizing their fascination with the night sky. They humorously recalled attempting to weave a swimming pool using green yarns, resulting in a motif of lush greenery, including grass and trees. This inspired them to name their creation "Hara Bhara Jangal," meaning "Green Forests." Infusing their patriotic pride, they crafted a rocket resembling Chandrayaan-3, inspired by the news they had seen on television. From verdant landscapes to celestial wonders, their carpet celebrates the beauty of Earth and the cosmos.
