Some are calmer, almost flat, like a pause between two thoughts. She says she wanted to show how days change. Morning begins softly, then work gathers speed. By afternoon, everything feels steady and full. Evening slows down again. The colours follow this very rhythm of her day-to-day life. This rug is simple in structure, but it carries movement. This rug is simple in structure, but it carries movement. Line by line, Rekha Devi has woven her everyday life into it. With this, she named her Manchaha ‘Saral Jeevan,’ meaning ‘Simple Life.’
