Their manchaha rug began with the simple idea of incorporating the designs of their silver jewellery. However, as they weaved, they recollected the precious memories associated with each piece of jewellery. Manbhari added her own personal touch by hand-crafting her silver pendant at the bottom but what makes this piece truly special is the inclusion of the little silver anklets or "payal" that her daughters used to wear. These anklets hold memories of Manbhari's daughters' laughter-filled footsteps jingling in their home corridors as they ran and played. Each knot of the rug holds the emotions of those cherished moments. Just as a goldsmith understands the true value of each jewel, those who cherish life's beautiful moments will recognize the preciousness of Manbhari's creation.
