Originating from the Bakhtiari region of Persia and meticulously crafted by Bakhtiari tribes people around 1970, this antique Persian Bakhtiari rug showcases a captivating geometrical medallion design. Its modestly size underscores its inherent portability, a characteristic that eloquently reflects the nomadic heritage of the Bakhtiari tribes. The carpet boasts remarkable durability and resilience, a direct consequence of the tribes' skillful tending of their sheep herds, which yields exceptionally high-quality wool. Predominant Guli Farng floral motifs richly imbue the field, exhibiting vibrant hues of red and blue, while supplementary shades of green, yellow, and white serve to accentuate the remaining artistic elements.
