Chauthi named her Manchaha, ‘Maha Sagar’ which alludes to ‘ocean of mountains’. Heaps of mountains are woven on the carpet, replicating a range of patterns. This carpet was influenced by her daily trips to the mountains for wood and fodder. Those mountains are a major part of her life. Every day she climbs those mounds and it provides her with its valuable resources. Through Maha Sagar, she expresses her gratefulness to the mountains.
