The Design Story
teen manzilTeen ManzilSanju and Sampat stated weaving this Manchahafrom earth, to life, to horizon, carrying their shared rhythm in every section. At the base, they have woven the ground with steady borders, small repeating forms, like steps placed carefully on soil. It feels rooted. Like a beginning that knows where it stands. As the eye moves up, the rug becomes busier. Lines cross each other. Shapes overlap. Motifs appear and disappear. This is the middle of life — work, noise, ideas, arguments, laughter. Sanju and Sampat have not tried to control it too much. They have allowed the design to grow the way life grows uncertainly. Further up, the forms stretch into mountains. After all the movement below, there is direction here. The mountains stand firm, like goals drawn clearly in sight. This Manchaha is a journey they have woven together — starting from the ground they stand on, moving through the chaos of living, and slowly lifting their eyes toward something bigger. With this, they named their Manchaha ‘Teen Manzil,’ which means ‘Three Stages.’
