lal mirchLal MirchSeema and Novratmal, two skilled weavers, transformed simplicity into a masterpiece with their hand-knotted carpet. Named "Lal Mirch," or "Red Chilli" in English, their creation speaks volumes with its dominant red hue. They opted for bold and bright red yarns and embraced a minimalist approach by weaving a consistent "Lehereiya" (wavy) pattern throughout the carpet. Sticking to their belief that "Less is more," they chose to maintain a single design and color scheme without unnecessary changes. This decision reflects their dedication to simplicity and the belief that a focused approach can yield striking results in their craft.
