The Design Story
chocolatey aamChocolatey AamGoing back to her childhood Kalaashi named her masterpiece of art “Chocolatey Aam” “Aam” is a Hindi word for “Mango”. The reason behind this name is very clear. This Manchaha Rug is in a Mango’s shape. Kalaashi has mostly used brown shades of yarn and weaved the carpet. If one zooms into the carpet, amidst all the other patterns, one can see chocolates. Being a creative weaver, she designed chocolates on her carpet. The detailing is intricate and elegant. She even weaved her name in Hindi in the top corner of the carpet. The hand-knitted rug will speak for its own. Kalaashi truly enjoyed her process of art.
